SINGAPORE – South Asians in Hollywood have made large strides in recent years – Indian actress Priyanka Chopra and American comedienne Mindy Kaling are now household names, each singularly bigger than any credit on their IMDB page. Yet others have landed blockbuster roles, such as Pakistani-American comedian Kumail Nanjiani in last year’s superhero epic, Eternals.

But 2022 is proving to be a big year for the next generation of South Asian actors.
