Gregoris Pyrpylis, creative director of Hermes Beauty, is inspired by the everyday woman

SINGAPORE – At the start of the pandemic, Mr Gregoris Pyrpylis remembers being awed by one thing: pictures of women queuing outside Hermes boutiques for the global launch of its first beauty line.

The French luxury house, known for crafting leather harnesses, debuted Hermes Beauty with a range of lipsticks and lip products in March 2020 – just as the coronavirus was starting to spread across the world.
