LOS ANGELES – After a seven-year break from series television, comedienne Amy Schumer is back with Life & Beth, a comedy drama inspired by traumatic experiences from her own childhood.
These include her parents’ marital, financial and health problems as well as Schumer’s ongoing struggle with trichotillomania – a mental disorder in which people compulsively pull out their hair.
