BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Law enforcement are investigating a shooting that reportedly involved an officer in Blount County.
According to the Blount County Sheriff Mark Moon, the shooting happened in Cleveland near County Road 1 and Highway 231. Moon did not give any information on the circumstances surrounding the shooting or who was injured.
Deputies are now investigating the scene of the shooting.
